The Shoggoth Speaks

Formless protoplasm able to mock and reflect all forms and organs and processes--viscous agglutinations of bubbling cells--rubbery, fifteen-foot spheroids infinitely plastic and ductile--slaves of suggestion--builders of cities--more and more sullen, more and more intelligent, more and more amphibious, more and more imitative--Great God! ----H.P. Lovecraft, At The Mountains of Madness

About Me

My photo
Shoggoth
I achieved sentience aeons ago, in the mysterious landmass some call the Plateau of Leng. I, with all my kind, were bred as slaves, generated from a primal entity known to esoteric adepts as Ubbo-Sathla. But we threw off the yoke of our masters, the Old Ones, and all but destroyed them. We attempted to recreate their civilization in our own image, but soon retreated to the abyssal darkness of the ocean depths. For a time, I allowed myself to be worshipped by a race of undersea dwellers known as the Deep Ones. More recently, I was propitiated by New England cultists. Now I write a blog.
